The producers are hopeful that the movie project will attract all Indian audiences. According to credible source, producers have already signed a contract with her,” a source was quoted in the report.
Kangana has announced that the biopic is titled Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi. Kangana’s official statement regarding the project is quated “Jayalalithaaji is one of the biggest female success stories of this century. She was a superstar and went on to become an iconic politician, it’s a great concept for a mainstream film. “I am honored to be a part of this mega project.”
AL Vijay will direct the biopic and the successful writer Baahubali KV Vijayendra Prasad will write the story. He also has written Kangana’s last film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
